EU suffers record drop in GDP

Je hebt die documentaire over de huizencrisis in Amerika niet gezien?
Daarin werd o.a. uit de doeken gedaan dat Deutsche Bank een van de
grootste eigenaren van woningen was geworden (uiteraard nádàt de hypotheek
niet betaald werd).
Heeft niet zo gek veel te doen met de EU-economie toch?
Moet je meer in de hoek van slecht management zoeken ;)

Maar in Amerika wordt aan de correctie daarvan gewerkt:

 May 16 (Bloomberg) -- Bank chief executives will be replaced in the next
couple of months as the U.S. scrutinizes financially troubled lenders,
Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Sheila Bair predicted.

“Management needs to be evaluated,” Bair said yesterday on Bloomberg
Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt,” being broadcast this
weekend. “Have they been doing a good job? Are there people who can do a
better job?”

PS. Zet eens een keer op een rij waar de grootste fouten gemaakt zijn, én
wat de trend was in het ontstaan van die fouten.
Dan kom je uit bij mensen als Wellink e.d. ;) Die dacht dat het b.v.
belangrijker was de spelregeltjes in de gaten te houden, en vergat te
waarschuwen voor de tsunami :(
En wie heeft geprofiteerd van die IJslandse tsunami? Hun enige miljardair
(en dat was ie al daarvoor ;) Waarom komt ie er mee weg?
