vindt. Hij ziet het idee van Ron Paul ook niet zitten.

Don't know Huber-Robertson, I'm afraid.  I don't think it makes much
sense to go back to the gold standard.  However, certain aspects of the
Bretton Woods system were highly successful, in particular, regulation
of currencies and the right to limit capital export.  Those were factors
in the very successful postwar economy and social democracy, mostly
reversed since the deregulation from the early 70s.

Don't know about LaRouche, but there's a fair amount about this in
mainstream economics.  David Felix, for one.

    I admire your work and whould like to know your opinion on monetary
    reform. To me it is one of the greatest challenges in the 21th
    century. Are you familiar with the work of Prof. Huber & Robertson
    who proposed a monetary reform for the EU?
    Dont you think the suggestion of Ron Paul to re-introduce the
    goldstandard is utterly flawed by the "goldbug" ? I noticed that
    Lyndon LaRouche proposed a similar suggestion by advocating a return
    to the Bretton Woods monetary regime.
