Dutch firm unveils grid plan
PGR BV, a privately held Dutch Internet services company, announced
the development of software that could be used to compensate
musicians whose songs are swapped online. ThankYou 2.0, set for a
second quarter release, utilizes grid computing to generate income
for compensation. PGR founder Pieter Plass states "We are the first,
but certainly not the last, to eliminate the record companies from
the equation."
