This Saturday, December 18th beginning at 10am Eastern time,
"free! Radio", the internet audio news service of the Freedom
Forum Online [http://www.freedomforum.org] will present
"Religion and Education."  This program will feature a special,
live webcast of the President's Saturday Radio Address from the
White House, at which he will announce that the Department of
Education is sending a package of religious education materials
to every public school in the country.  The package will include
three publications co-produced by the Freedom Forum's First Amendment Center
in Nashville, Tenn.  We will also feature an interview with
Charles Haynes, senior scholar for religious freedoms at the
Freedom Forum, who helped produce the First Amendment Center
books.  And we'll also replay a Newseum/NY news conference announcing
the publication of "The Bible and Public Schools", a new book preparedf and
endorsed
by over 20 different religious groups, which suggests how public schools
can integrate religion into their curricula without crossing the
constitutional
