Broadcasting live from Soho Radio and XR sites around the
world, Rebel Radio is a pop-up station with unique access to the
inside story of Extinction Rebellion. Rebel Radio will
proactively set the news agenda for the duration of Extinction
Rebellion’s most ambitious protest yet. Driven by daring and
curious voices, Rebel Radio expands the cultural conversation
around the climate and ecological crisis. The schedule is pegged
around two key news shows at the start and end of the day. Wake
up to business not as usual with GMXR (Good Morning Extinction
Rebellion), a debrief from leading campaigners. We gather
updates from around London and the world, with key XR insiders
digesting the news and reflecting on what happened the day
before. Don’t Drive Time broadens the conversation into the
evening, bringing new perspectives from the frontline of the
emergency. Broadcaster and journalist Kate Hutchinson interviews
very special guests and introduces the human stories propelling
the movement forward. As dusk falls, the show will cut live to
moments of drama and inspiration on XR stages, with speeches and
music book ended by reaction.

Rebel Radio is proud to present Not Too Late, an exploration of
how radical music and the crisis interlink. Presented by a
stellar team of cultural thinkers, DJs and forward-thinking
musicians – including Josie Long, Zakia Sewell and Max Reinhardt
– and the talented production team from Reduced Listening, Not
Too Late offers respite in the face of emergency. Rebel Radio
during International Rebellion will be your first port of call
to hear from luminaries on the ground and in the media. Join the
rebellion, just by tuning in. The time is now.

Listen from 7th – 20th October in our Culture channel –
officially the Rebel Radio channel for the two weeks.
