Waar staat Trotsky voor?

* Objectieve oorsprong:

Trotsky [or, Trotskii, cyrillic: ??? ????????? ??????? ] was simply
the name of Lev's prison guards in Odessa. Hoe die aan zijn naam is
gekomen is onbekend.

Trotsk[yi] heeft geen enkele oorsprong vanuit het Nederlandse woord
trots. Er is slechts een fonetische gelijkenis.

* Subjectieve esoterische uitleg:

Het woord Trotsky dient men te scheiden in het Nederlandse ROTS en het
Engelse SKY. De beginletter T valt weg...

Vervolgens leggen we de associatie met Griekse mythologie:

Trotsky gaat over de titaan Promotheus "forethought" die aan een ROTS
op de berg Kaukakus vastgebonden werd na straf van Zeus, waar de
adelaar Ethon vanuit de SKY kwam aanvliegen om iedere dag een stukje
uit zijn lever te pikken dat elke nacht weer aangroeide totdat de held
Herakles hem bevrijdde tijdens zijn *11e* werk.

De associatie met Prometheus wordt ook gelegd door Isaac Deutscher:
