De 'markt' zal wel gesplitst worden.
Schepen die Somali gepasseerd zijn én schepen die nog moeten passeren.

SEOUL, South Korea (Reuters) — Somali pirates seized a supertanker
carrying as much as $170 million worth of crude oil on Sunday, officials
said, the latest sign that sea gangs may be seeking bigger quarry.

The ship, the Samho Dream, which can carry more than two million barrels
of crude oil, was hijacked on its way to the United States from Iraq,
and its crew of 5 South Koreans and 19 Filipinos was taken hostage,
South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Samho Shipping, a South Korean company, owns the ship. Valero Energy, a
company based in San Antonio, said it had bought the crude oil cargo on
board. A spokesman for Valero, Bill Day, said that the cargo was bound
for the Gulf of Mexico.

Increasingly brazen pirate activity and hefty ransoms have driven up
insurance costs and forced some ships to go around South Africa instead
of through the Suez Canal.
