Hallo Henk,

Eerlijk gezegd heb ik daar niet aan gedacht toen ik het bericht opstelde.

Heb overigens wel eerder op jouw voorstel om de Nederlandse marine bij het
herstel in te schakelen gereageerd. Zie nu dat dit bericht (Re: Intifada,
intifada, Palestina vrij!) alleen naar jou en niet ook naar de lijst is
gegaan.
Ik verwees in dat bericht naar de USS Liberty, die ooit door Israel
operationeel is uitgeschakeld (en nauwelijks weg kon komen).
Het onderzoek naar de toedracht door de eigen USA is toen niet ver
gekomen, omdat het intern werd tegengewerkt.
De nabestaanden van de gesneuvelde mariniers wachten nog steeds op antwoord!

Overigens stel ik me niet zoveel voor van die mogelijke Nederlandse marine
bewaking. Israel heeft veel meer aanvalsvliegtuigen dan Nederland en is,
zoals is gebleken, niet te bang om die te gebruiken.
