Precies Henk,

  Dat had ik er wel bij kunnen zetten, maar ik word al gauw gezien Amerika te verdedigen en Holland aan te vallen. dat vermijd ik zoveel mogelijk.
  Amerika is not al bad, en Holland is niet helemaal goed...:-)

Je kunt het (lack of patriotism) ook simpel vervangen met; dat ´onze
jongens en meisjes´ op
´vredesmissie´ gaan.

Wie zoekt daar dan enig kwaad achter, immers?
Het ´(her)bevestigd´ zelfs dat we een ´nobel´ volkje zouden zijn!!

Kortom: we hebben onze hedendaagse variant.....
