Poetin in a Nutshell!

  Poetin is "beating a dead horse". Hij had dit soort positie moeten  nemen toen Frankrijk en Duitsland dat deden. Nu probeert hij alsnog "to  climb on the bandwagon".
  Terwijl iedereen heeft kunnen constateren dat het amerikaanse volk "threw the bums out"
  Bush is uitgeregeerd. Full stop.
  What Poetin doet wordt "political expediency" genoemd, dat kan je hem  niet kwalijk nemen...The man's gotta use what he's got, to get what he  needs!

  Het Amerikaanse volk was weer "politically hoodwinked".
  Goebbels heeft Spin niet uitgevonden. De term PR komt uit Amerika..

Beide sentimenten deel ik, Ernst. Ik vraag me af of ze in de VS geen
last hebben van hun negatieve imago. Een beetje respect, goede wil en
vriendelijkheid kost toch niks? En van een bord voor de kop is nog nooit
iemand beter geworden.

Toch, als ik de algemene toon van online communities oppik, dan zijn in
de VS de generaties die nu nog geen enkele macht of invloed hebben veel
opener en progressiever. Maar ja, dat zijn wel mensen die veel op het
internet zitten.
